Brennan's Kilteel Inn is a two storey, ivy clad, 100 year old building. It is olde world with two open fires, tiled floor and pitch pine back bar and furnishings. An old traditional pub in all it's glory! It is full of antiques, a haunted room and endless tales of by gone times.
It is popular with Dublin City dwellers (who are just down the road) and the country community that surrounds it.
It has two pool tables in an old style Pool Room and many other attractions.
Finger food, soup, sandwiches, tea & coffee are all supplied on request. We provide a samll off-sales section together with a sweet section, light groceries, gas and coal.
We offer all sporting events on our 42" Plasma TV with both Sky and Setanta. Our Smoking Area is heated and we have many meeting rooms available for various groups.
Our function room holds 150 and is ideal for all birthday parties, fund raising events and after funeral receptions. It has its own bar and can be entered separately from the Bar and Lounge.
Kilteel Inn, known as the "Highest pub in Kildare" is on a hilltop approximately 100ft above seal level. Views in the area are reputed to be the longest land views in Ireland.
Both the South County Dublin and Kildare Hunt Groups meet regularly at Kilteel for Drag Hunts, etc.
There are two racecourses in the parish, Punchestown and Naas. The only parish in Ireland with two racecourses and only one pub - The Kilteel Inn!
