Venues as popular as Dicey Reilly’s just don’t come into existence overnight. The hostelry dates back to 1856 when Micheal Gavigan first open the doors of the pub.Indeed the building was also the home of Margaret Delap who was later to become the wife of Thomas Barton of Barton and Guestier fame.
No trip to Ballyshannon could be complete, without a visit to one of the towns longest established and finest hostelries, Dicey’s as it is affectionately known by the locals. The family run bar is now in its third century of trading as a Public House and has come up for mention in publications all over the Globe, recently extented with a new Bar upstairs, and a new off-licence adjacent, spread over 2 floors, which has extensive range of wine, beers & spirits. A venue that locals frequent and strangers long to revisit Dicey’s assembles a varied & lively crowd all year round. For a night to remember or an enjoyable break on your travels visit Dicey’s
