The Hazel Bar and Restaurant was established as The Hazel in 1997 in the Co Mayo town of Ballyhaunis. Since then it has built up a very good reputation for Great Food and Drink. Its friendly atmosphere is enhanced by the large open fire which looks very welcoming and warm through the winter months. It makes it an ideal location to stop have a cup of coffee, chat or have a delicious meal.
"The Hazel" is a family owned and run business with proprietors Tim and Margaret Byrne at the helm together with the members of their family Ethna , Marita and Noel they work tirelessly for the good of their business. With dedicated staff headed by Sebastian of front of house in the upstairs restaurant and Noel on the ground floor bar and restaurant and also kitchen staff under the guidance of head chef Sean Sleater .With the central location and adjacent car parking spaces and free parking on the street it is a very suitable and worry free place to have a great night out with your family, friends or partner.
