The Mart Bar and Loft Bar is a family run Pub situated in Carrickmacross. The Cunningham Family who have been in the business for over 30 years, offering their customers a comfortable atmosphere, as well as excellent service and always provided with a personal touch.
A popular pub with the locals it provides a huge function room upstairs in the loft to provide parties.
They have live music every weekend and all sports channels.

The only place in a 20 mile radius that was as welcoming to all, that I came across in 15 years of the time I spent in Ireland
John Joe, his wife Ann and family, are genuine people, no hidden agendas there, just pure community spirit. The only place I ever felt comfortable visiting, whilst spending time in the company of others, outside of friends. Great nights out and dancing in the Loft, they welcome people from all over the world. It’s a true depiction of a no nonesense bar. I loved it. It’s the only place outside of Wexford or Galway ( family ties on mothers side ) I would go back to, just to get bad manners off John Joe, bless him. It’s a must place to go when visiting Ireland just for the Craic you will meet many characters in this bar, if spending time in CARRICKMACROSS go and partake of one of the best pints of Guinness in Ireland.
