Templar's Inn, NEW ROSS, Wexford

Templars Inn is located on the Hook Peninsula, New Ross, Co. Wexford. Known as the ‘Sunny South East’ it boasts numerous unspoilt beaches, historical sites, outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. It is also ideally situated near to some excellent sea angling spots.

The area of the Hook Peninsula is steeped in history. In 1649 Oliver Cromwell attacked “by Hook or by Crook”. However it was the Normans who landed in 1170 who left a trail of history behind them.

Templetown was host to the Knights Templar. Ruins of a church used by them and Kilgoggan Castle are still to be seen in the area.

Templars Inn itself has beautiful panoramic views across Templetown Bay to Dunmore East, Waterford. Come and enjoy dinning on the large decking area. Templars Inn specialises in seafood but has an excellent varied Full Bar Menu which caters for all tastes. All produce is sourced locally to ensure freshness and flavour.
