The Castle inn is a delightful pub located in Cork city center. It is situated on North Main street close to Washington street. There are two entrances and one leads you into a little snug. It’d be a great place to sit if you had a small group of people out with you. As i was told last night you don’t even have to move to get your pint! If you walk in the main door the bar is immediately to the left. There is a bench to the right and as you walk down along there are a couple of tables and more benches. It is quite a small pub but it has lots of character. The tiles on the ground are broken, the furniture isn’t very comfortable but it has a roaring fire and very friendly staff. Apparently they have a no music policy and the TV only comes on for the news. The pints of Murphy’s in there are very good and you won’t have to hang around for too long for your pint even if it’s busy.
