The Hibernian is it’s proper name, but everyone knows it affectionately as The Hi-B. Chances are, if you asked anyone for directions to the Hibernian, people wouldn’t know what you were referring to.
The Hi-B was originally owned and managed by Brian O’Donnell’s parents. The property was bought in 1923 and if you look at some of the older photos of the Hi-B you will see 1923 mentioned on the awning over the front door.
