About The Ferryman: 

This is a unique family owned and run Bed & Breakfast Hotel, which combines old world charm and style with personality, excellent service and warm hospitality in the centre of Dublin. It is the perfect base from which to explore Dublins many top attractions.

Lord Cardiff built the Ferryman in the 1780’s. It comprises of two listed Georgian buildings full of character and restored to their original splendour.

The Liffey Ferry crossed this point transporting workers from North to South of the river to work in the Gasometer, the Banana Factory and Dublin’s ship building yard. As recently as the mid 1980’s Guinness boats carrying barrels of their famous brew that sailed past The Ferryman.

The Ferryman Hotel is regarded as one of the prime riverside locations and is steeped in Dublin history.
