Along with sumptuous menus, The Ivy House has an active programme of events, such as late bars on Friday's & Saturday's, chilled out DJs at the weekends, art shows, out-door theatre during the summer months, movies and all sporting events.

Patrick Carthy's & Sons – the cosy traditional side bar since 1922, via the laneway on the right hand side of The Ivy House, which shows all sporting events, play's no music, just a place with a real fire that serves great pints, sumptuous beers, whiskeys & scotches, along with a wide range of world wines by the glass and bottle.
