O’Reilly’s Pub, established in 1922 has been the pub of choice for Sandymount residents and visitors for over 80 years. O’Reilly’s Pub is currently run by T.P. O’Reilly, whose father Patrick also ran the pub for many years with his brother Tommy. The rear of the pub boasts a beautifully landscaped beer garden which is perfect for cool drinks on a sunny summer evening.
The pub is popular with locals and non-locals alike and in addition to all the normal range of beverages you would expect, O’Reilly’s also serves Lunch (Soup and freshly made plain and toasted sandwiches), Tea and a range of Coffees. Toasted Sandwiches, Tea and Coffee are available throughout the day.
O’Reilly’s Pub is a favourite venue for armchair sports fans and all major sports events can be viewed on the large screen TV’s, including Soccer, Rugby, Gaelic Games, Golf and much more.
There are frequent competitions and sweeps for regular customers, based mostly on sporting events. We currently run a “Last man standing” competition based on the English Premiership and also a “Goal buster” competition based on goals scored again in the English Premiership.
O’Reilly’s Pub, located at 5, Seafort Avenue, Sandymount, Dublin 4 is home to O’Reillys Sandymount Golfing Society, named after the bar in which it was founded back in 1996.
