The Tír na nÓg management and staff would like to introduce and welcome you to “Connemara’s home of Irish Hospitality”.
We are the place where local residents and business people can come to relax. Our cozy, inviting atmosphere is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy a pint with an authentic hearty meal.
Tír na nÓg is a traditional Irish Pub and Restaurant, which was renamed in the winter of 1997 when it was taken over by the Kelly Family. It is named after the famous great heroes and poets of ancient Ireland. Conveniently located 30km outside of Galway City, Tír na nÓg is situated in the heart of the Gaelic speaking area of Connemara.
The surrounding area is rich in history and culture, with beautiful scenery . Once inside the restaurant, you will be transported across miles of ocean, to a charming and inviting family setting.
Whether you are pulling up a barstool and engaging in conversation by the fire with your co-workers; or pulling up a chair at a happy family gathering in our restaurant, we have whatever is needed to make you next visit a special one.
Our restaurant opens daily from 12pm serving fantastic food all day. We provide for a lingering lunch or meal in our new restaurant, a fast service for the office worker at lunch and for those of you in a hurry coffee and take-away to go!
