Horan's Pub is a unique Pub for Portumna. There are a variety of patrons that make a practice of enjoying their social time by discussing their varied choice of politics or their exotic experiences of life in the pursuit of happiness. The Pub has an international flare with patron's from Austria, Germany, England, Poland, Greece and France. The Publican makes everyone welcome even Americans. There is hardly a night that goes by that either John Horan or someone drags a guitar out and start strumming and singing. Londis supermarket is adjacent to the cornerhouse bar.
