The Ring Lyne has been open for business for over 125 years. Originally called “The Bridge View” in honour of the small bridge that crosses Caol River in the Chapeltown, it was re-christened The Ring Lyne in the 1960’s in honour of two islanders that were instrumental in securing the bridge that now links Valentia Island to the mainland. As you’re host Eileen Healy will ensure that you want for nothing, with many years of experience within the catering world Eileen took over the running of this delightful gem of old world hospitality two year ago and has turned it into a welcoming home away from home for the weary traveller! You can join the locals for some lively banter or even a sing song at the bar, or enjoy a quite meal in the cosy lounge area either way you will leave as a friend as Eileen ensures no one is a stranger here!
