The Thatch Bar is one of the oldest pubs in Limerick, established over 200 years ago! Having changed hands several times since then; Andrew Hourigan has been the publican since 2006. Situated in Newbridge, outside Askeaton, County Limerick, we pride ourselves on our friendly staff, great pints of Guinness and great atmosphere. The craic is always mighty in the Thatch so why not come join us for a drink!
The Creeves soccer pitch is located on our grounds. There is plenty to keep you entertained in the Thatch; Regular card games, Karoke, Pool, Darts, Music and much more!
We are opened 7 days, only closing 2 days of the year on Christmas Day and Good Friday. We open at 3PM everyday except on Saturday and Sunday we open at 12PM.
