The Century Bar, DUNDALK, Louth

Well known restaurateur Pat Kerley runs The Century Bar in Dundalk, which is a listed building on a corner site opposite St Patrick's Cathedral,

It's a romantic building dating back to 1902, with an ornamental turret on the corner, above the front door - and it has retained many features of historical interest, including the original bar counter and hand-carved bar backdrop.

The restaurant is above the bar and here Pat Kerley - a committed Euro-Toques chef - takes great pride in the active promotion of Irish food and uses as much local produce as possible, including oysters, lobster and lamb.

At Quaglinos, generosity remains the keynote and providing good service with good value is a priority.
