The Border Collie Pub is an off spring of "The Border Collies" Band, made famous in the 80's by Colm O'Donnell and Declan Payne............. The band is so old you can't even see them on youtube! The Pub / Shop is situatied in the quaint and tranquil village of Tourlestane...........A MECA for Gaelic Footballers!!! The only other thing there is to offer in the village is a beautiful church and a feckin great pint of Guinness!! (or Heineken for the foreigners) Together with Colms wife Veronica & family of six (Siobhan, Marian, Eoin, Mairead, Colm O'g, and Feidhlim) and Declans wife Theresa they took over the business in mid July 2005 and are still trading in the business till present serving a good hospitality, and good music in the bar.
