Welcome to Lake View Lounge situated in Ballyknockan which overlooks the Blessington Lakes.
We take pride in our family run pub and have a full menu on weekends of freshly home cooked meals. We cater for parties, weddings, christenings and touring groups. We also do external catering supplied from our modern kitchen on the premises.
The pub is set in a beautiful area surrounded by the Wicklow hills to the east and the Blessington Lakes to the north and west. The area is unique with granite walled laneways and quarries from which Ballyknockan village was renowned for the high quality granite which was supplied to build many of the fine buildings in Dublin.
There are many walks nearby both easy and hard. You can take a lesiurely stroll around the village and admire the stonemasons fine work in many of the buildings or if you are an experienced hill walker you can climb Monbane (703m), Mullaghcleevaun (847m) and enjoy the fantastic views over the planes of Kildare. When finished come back to us and we will feed you and entertain you with live music every Saturday and Sunday.
