The Glen Hotel is a long established family run hotel located 250 yards from the ferry pier, over looking the Atlantic and set in mature grounds, The Glen Hotel looks onto the Hills of Donegal in the background and is a haven for those wishing a tranquil setting. Arranmore island is located in the north west coast of Donegal, it is the largest island in Donegal and is three miles from the mainland coast of Burtonport, it has half hourly services operating during the summer months, there is stunning scenery to be seen and the clear waters and numerous marine life make it ideal for snorkeling and SCUBA diving. There are many small secluded beaches as well as the main beaches located in Aphort and Leabgarrow.
We offer good wholesome food in the bar daily from 12:30pm to 9pm and an a la carte menu in the dining room served every Sunday from 12:30pm to 3pm. Special nightly rates are offered to large groups, divers, hill walkers, tourists etc.
