The BrookLodge is a luxurious country house hotel situated in beautiful Macreddin Village and surrounded by spectacular Wicklow countryside, yet only an hour's drive from South Dublin. We have ninety bedrooms, many of which feature four poster or sleigh beds with window seats where you can admire the stunning views while contemplating your plans (or lack of them!) for the day. In The Strawberry Tree Restaurant, Ireland’s only certified Organic Restaurant and Leinster Restaurant of the Year 2010, we use only organic and wild foods, prepared expertly and served in possibly Ireland’s most dramatic dining rooms, whilst in La Taverna Armento, a genuine Italian menu, inspired by our twin village of Armento in southern Italy, is offered. The Waterside Lounge is a perfect spot for unwinding and on fine summer days you can sit out by Ballycreen Brook. these are a Serail Mud Chamber, a Hammam Massage Room, a Flotation Room, Double Treatment Rooms, various Jacuzzi's & Water features including a Hot Tub and Heated Loungers, as well as a huge variety of Face and Body Treatments from the Decleor & Carita skin care range. All the water used in the centre is from our own pure water wells and a unique indoor-to-outdoor swimming pool completes the experience. Designed by Irish Ryder Cup Hero Paul McGinley and incorporating 160 acres of statuesque pines and meandering brooks in a designated area of outstanding beauty, the Championship standard, par 72 Macreddin Golf Club offers an exciting challenge to golfers of all standards, and a different experience every round. In the village we have Acton's Country Pub & Brewery where we brew and serve our very own beers and The Orchard Café, where great home cooking has been given a modern twist. As well as our fine food and drink, Macreddin Village has its own Organic Bakery & Smokehouse along with "The Storerooms" - a selection of food, wine and tableware shops. We even have our very own Chapel! For guests who like to keep active Macreddin Stables & Equestrian Centre, offers horse riding and trekking through Macreddin Woods or for a calmer time we have a booklet with mapped walks available at reception or you can avail of one of our complimentary bicycles.
