‘’The Green Goose’’ first opened it’s doors on 11/11/1949. In 1972 it’s name was changed to ‘’The Pilot’’. Then in 1990 it was renamed ‘’The Goose Tavern’’.
So at the ripe age of 64, she is still going strong and looking good inside and out. The Goose is definitely a female rather than a gander, as it’s her good looks that attract so many to her pad!

The Upstairs Lounge can be booked for Parties, Christenings, Anniversaries, Quizzes etc. It has an area for a DJ to set up, a dance floor and it has the capacity to fit 100 people comfortably.
